Fighting Fat And Losing Friends Along The Way

In an attempt to escape from his self-imposed isolation and overcome his demons, Wilbur McDougall, a former pro-wrestler, agrees to let his best friend Jan Oliver Lucks make a documentary about his gastric sleeve surgery and subsequent transformation.

Watch as a buddy quest film slams up against an observational documentary when director Ollie attempts to force his friend to tell all. Wilbur: The King in the Ring is a and humorous confrontational portrait of a man and his dream and his friend’s determination to make a documentary about it.
